Early December each year Ryde Arts Festival organise a Christmas garland and wreath making workshop. Masses of holly, ivy, laurel, bay and other natural materials are collected and wire rings are provided as the basis for the wreaths – then it just takes some imagination. Expert tuition is available throughout the day.
Festive music, singing and children’s Christmas decortation making are features of the day usually held at St Thomas’ Heritage Centre, Ryde.
